The fifth and sixth years have lockers.What do you think should ony the fifth and sixth years should have them or should have them or noone.

I have been waiting , for what seems like years, for Lockers.
The Pupil Council have spoke about this and the lockers have been ordered.
So Don't worry!!!!

Not having lockers is quite unfair, I mean imagine you had to carry around five heavy textbooks in your school bags.They are so heavy.It really starts to after awhile.I say lockers for everyone.

Its only the 6th years who get lockers which I think is unfair because they only have like 3 or 4 subjects.

im a 5th year and we dont hav a locker we have 5 folders + textbooks from most classes so try to fit in 5 folders each day and carry them about! Also some people have a pe kit on top of that everyday. We have went through 4 years without a locker so i think you will manage alright! I feel it is fair that 5th years are next to get the lockers and you will agree with us when it comes to your time to carry our workload every day!

Currently the 6th year have lockers in the small dining room. 5th year lockers will be available shortly. We have lockers, yes we may only have 4 subjects, but they require bigger folders and many textbooks therefore have a greater need for them.

I think that it is quite unfair but you've got to remember that the seniors have more subjects,harder subjects,and they get loads of tests so a locker is needed for seniors and there is no point in paying for a locker for everybody when not everybody needs one!!!

we're getting lockers for 5th year- they will be avaiable from december. there will possibly be a few more for other people too. the lockers may be located in the transit, music and the glass corridor by the dining room. x

At the last Pupil Council meeting all your comments were taken into account and lockers for S4, S5 & S6 pupils who wish to rent one will be available in the New Year.

how come there has been such a delay in the lockers? we get promiced so often that they will arrive and nothing has been done now we are told they will b here in january what if they arent? will we actually get told why?

200 lockers have been bought and we are merely waiting their delivery. There shouldn't be any delay. I don't know how Santa will get them all down the school's chimney...

the lockers had 2 be ordered and delivered, then you were asked on your preferred location of them, then the keys had 2 be sorted and matched to names.
sorry about the delay but it does take a lot of effort and organisation to get them. instead of complaining, why don't we thank mr mackinnon and mrs stewart for their hard work.

i think that every pupil in the school should have locker after all the 1st and 2nd year pupils have the most sujects and therefor have more jotters and books tham 5th and 6th year which makes there bag heavier than the 5th and 6th years.So i say that everyone should have a locker or 1st, 2nd,3rd and fourth years should have lockers NOT 5TH AND 6TH YEAR as we 1st,2nd,3rd and fourth years have alot more books,jotters ect to carry.

I am in the school pupil council and in 2nd year and we do have on some days alot of books but the 5th years have loads of text books for standard grade and highers, etc, etc so if you want a locker then you will have to wait your turn because there aren't enough to go around at the moment (or enough space for them)if you desperatly need a locker tyen contact a member of the staff eg Mr.Summers or Mr. Macinine and they will see what they can do about it but I can't garantee if you will be successful.

if you go too a club and a teacher has organized it,it's only fair if they are there too.You're giving up you're lunch aswell too be in a stuffy classroom.you are not meant to be left n a classroom by yourself.if you are having a dt that's still wrong.if yo are left u should just leave aswell!!!!

yea rite as if ther gonna give ne1 a locker they give themselfs 1st priority then its anyfin else in the skool. he says if we do hav lockers and dont carry our bags around wiv us the "privelege" of having a locker will be gone!!!!

5th and 6th years had to go through 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th years without lockers, the rest of you should have to too. If u want, i would trade my bag with you to see who's is heaviest?
