Why is it that every time we step outdoors it rains? Well, it's not really that bad. We made it to Paris today despite the long delays in the famous (infamous?) embouteillages. We were due to stop in Rouen for lunch but with the delays the coach driver didn't think it'd be possible. So, instead, we pounded on to Paris. I'm texting this from the Beateau Mouche where we are currently making it through a reasonably bright spell. Let's cross our fingers it lasts.
The Seine is beautiful and gives an amazing first image of Paris. The Louvre (of Da Vinci Code fame - by the way, what's the film like?), the sister museum - the musée d'Orsay, the expensive appartments of the Ile St Louis... This boat trip is clearly the way to get to know Paris.
Sorry for the lack of posts in this last little while. Things have been very busy. But tomorrow is the big day of visits in Paris (including one to the world's biggest perfume shop on the Champs Elysée). It's also tomorrow that we might get a chance to spy the Mona Lisa. It's a shame they couldn't bring out the film before we had gone, and we might have been able to reinact the opening scenes!
Tant pis! Au revoir pour le moment. Plus de reportages plus tard!
Miss Leroux.
Hi Amy Louise,
Doesn't matter about the weather Paris is a beautiful place to be. Enjoy all the sights and sounds.
Love Dad
PS I'm just about coping with your Mum!

Hi Steven and Daniel.
Me again. I just read that you are off to the perfume shop tomorrow. Well Steven, you know me and perfurme. Something nice and expensive no less. Equivalent to the price of the David Beckham aftershave would suffice (joking). Keep your money. However, a quick email to tell us you are ok would be a present in itself. Have fun and don't get too tired.
Pictures of your Dad and Derek with the Scottish cup, Romanov and Paul Hartley and Steven Pressley are really good. Can't wait for you to get back to show you. Been in the papers and everything. They've got your dad's phone number now and they're gonna call him to go for a pint sometime. Shame you're not 18 yet !!!!!!!!!!!!
Have fun tomorrow.
Missing you

Sarah and Fiona
Now remember both of you, whatever you buy, you have to carry home!!!!!! Don't go mad. Hope the weather picks up and gets sunny for you all. I'm sure you will all still be having a great time regardless.
Alfie is sitting longingly looking out of the window for you Sarah and I think he is wondering why the house is so quiet without you, Fiona, Leona and Claire. Rachael is still missing you. Enjoy Paris and the wonderful sights. Dad away to London today so Rachael, Alfie and I have the house and remote control to ourselves. Yippee! Big Brother being taped for you!
See you soon.
Love Mum

Hi Rowan & Glenn, Glad to hear you've made to Paris safe and sound. I hope you enjoy your visit as it's a beautiful city. Rowan - are you going up the Eiffel tower? I know you were looking forward to that. Re the perfume shop - I'll be happy with CK one! Have fun.
Mum x
PS - the food in the cupboards and fridge seems to be lasting a bit longer since you've both been away.....!!

I don't agree upon the view presented in this article.I hope to see better constructed reports in the future.I think that at some point in time someone became lazy or maybe just time constrained and only prepared a slightly more detailed version of a presentation and this caught on like wild fire and unfortunately became acceptable since it cut the time to complete the briefing and presentation in half.
